This mist is no mist at all;
No barrier between You and me.
Nothing hides behind
Beyond the mist I see.
No shadow, no jagged shaft
Prismed, slashing, dancing, falling,
Rising absolute, bright.
Steady in the mist
Like mercy on a sinner's heart
Is this Light.
