From Theft to Rape: Abuse Continues

In 2005, there was a 19% increase in complaints of misconduct over 2004, and a 43% increase in substantiated cases. Things got worse in 2006: there was a 38% increase in complaints of wrongdoing over 2005, and a 68% jump in substantiated claims. In both 2005 and 2006, approximately a third of these cases involved the sexual abuse of minors.

Commenting on these data is Catholic League president Bill Donohue:

"So why isn't this big news? Because the figures apply to New York City school employees, that's why. By the way, these figures show that the rate of substantiated sexual abuse of minors committed by New York City public school workers is approximately three times the rate found among Catholic priests nationwide. Importantly, two-thirds of the New York City school employees who molest kids are teachers.

"Again, none of this will be given the prominence it deserves. There will be no television specials, no new laws passed by state legislators and no cheap-shot jokes aimed at teachers. Remember, in 2005 there were five cases of sexual misconduct confirmed among 42,000 priests. That didn't make much of a stir in the news either, and for the same reason. In other words, when the figures make the public school industry look bad, they're given short shrift by the media. Ditto when the figures don't make the Catholic Church look bad.

"Yes, it makes for a bigger story when a priest molests a minor, but what does it say about the media when they treat misconduct by teachers with aplomb? And I use the term priest, as opposed to clergyman, purposely: in today's New York Post there is a story about a Brooklyn yeshiva being slapped with its fourth sex lawsuit, the latest involving alleged abuse by a ‘highly regarded rabbi.' It merited four sentences on page 26. Which is more coverage than was yielded by the New York Daily News, New York Times and Newsday, all of which failed to report the story.

"None of this is a surprise to us — we see stuff like this everyday. But enough is enough."

    Unbelievable! If that had been a “highly regarded priest” it would have been all over the media.

    Jews control much of the the media for whatever reason, and these are hypocrites for the most part. They will never tell the whole story because it’s about POWER to them. I would like to see the righteous of their people stand up, and I’m not talking about Michael Medved or Dennis Prager. Where are the ones the bible speaks about? I know they exist…

    This is OLD news and yet you are just getting here – and, if ‘here’ did not exist – WHERE? This news came out in studies that came out over years in the 1990’s – as well as news that Catholic-priest sex abuse was the same as among Protestant ministers, police officers, social workers, etc., etc. That is, that we as a culture suffer from about four percent of concupiscent alleged ‘adults’ in all walks of life who prey on the young.

    All this has less to do with Jews than with a whole milieu that sees itself as the elite to run everyone elses’ lives. They capitalize on having large access to MSM to promulgate what they will, hide what they will not have known, and issue their BigLie ways that they increasingly gain control. The Jews among them are as little Jewish in faith as their Gentiles are in any way Christian.

    It is not so much ‘conspiracy’ as ‘common mind-set’ that attains to power over others. They ‘compartmentalize’ themselves among themselves as much as they ‘pigeon-hole’ everyone else. Their perceptions are narrow, and all about themselves as ‘free’ and in power, and the rest of us as ‘controlled’ and powerless; in effect, Marxists without a proletariat. (Perhaps, in this you can see how they despise Christianity for envisioning a united and beloved flock where they only want to own a utilitarian ‘herd’.)

    This is tragically dangerous, truly, but also pathetic and low. What else can it be but dangerous, pathetic and low to work to effectively expose young persons to predators in order to have one’s own puerile way?
