John 7:37
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and proclaimed, “If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.”
If you are thirsty, don’t:
Jump through hoops to make yourself worthy of a drink;
Demand your rights;
Call thirst “superstition” and pretend you aren’t thirsty;
Drink gasoline, hot wax, battery acid or other things that aren’t drinkable.
Instead, do:
Receive the offer of God and drink of the Holy Spirit.
It’s that simple.
