TORONTO (LSN.ca) – A “women's health forum” coming up this Friday and Saturday at the Metro Convention Centre in Toronto will feature the notorious Nafis Sadik, former head of the abortion promoting United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Sadik, now on the Board of Directors for the Center for Reproductive Law and Policy (CRLP) – the legal arm of the abortion movement in the U.S. – will speak on the “reproductive health and rights of women.”
The Bay Centre for Birth Control and Planned Parenthood of Toronto, will be giving presentations to adolescent girls on topics including: “Let's Talk About Sex,” “Questions About Birth Control and the Emergency Contraceptive Pill” and “Sex on the Couch.” The website for the event advises that, “Teens Educating and Confronting Homophobia (T.E.A.C.H.) will discuss strategies around “naming, confronting and preventing homophobia,” and, says the ad, “We will talk about pills, condoms, the injection, spermicides and so much more!”
In addition to General Motors Canada as the chief sponsor of the event, the government funded Ontario Women's Health Council is also listed as a sponsor. Harvey's, Swiss Chalet, TUMS, Liberty Health, CTV and the Toronto Star are among the other sponsors.
