Following God’s Will is not always the way we go, but it is the most blessed. Giving our days up to do His Will can make them very peaceful and full of joy.
Always blessed, I agree…but not always filled with joy. I am persecuted, hated, ignored. The gifts God has given to me to share are squashed and rejected by the very people I love. I do not regret answering God’s call, but I pray continually, asking Him to hold me up and strengthen me so that I may continue. Carrying the cross of Christ is very difficult at times, but I would choose no other path than the way of Christ. I am nothing without Him. Without Truth.
Thank you for this beautiful reminder that God knows my name. For I am one of the “despised” of this world.
